Jaclyn Stambaugh and Ronnie Stokes

Jaclyn Rae Stambaugh and Ronnie Michael Stokes were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. March 12 at Lakeside United Methodist Church in Brunswick.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Donald Combs of Darien. Mrs. Cathy Drury of Brunswick provided nuptial music and Mr. Justen Harden provided a vocal/guitar solo.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stambaugh Jr. of Brunswick. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stokes Sr. of Brunswick.

Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an Oleg Cassini organza and lace gown. The ivory strapless gown featured corset detailing, beaded Venice lace appliqués and a dramatic ruffled skirt with a chapel train.

The gown was complimented by her champagne crystal tiara and cathedral-length filigree lace veil featuring sequin appliqué detailing.

She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, teal-tinted cymbidium orchids and stephanotis hand-tied with ivory ribbon.

Christina Stambaugh, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. The attendants were Jane Claire Deck, cousin of the bride, of Sunflower, Miss., and Kyra Rizk and Serena Rizk, both cousins of the bride, of Middleton, Pa. Katie Adams of Sunflower and Kira Browning of Brunswick served as flower girls.

The attendants wore teal, floor-length mesh, one-shouldered gowns and carried bouquets of ivory roses with teal-tinted cymbidium orchids tied with burlap.

The flower girls wore floor-length ivory dresses with teal sashes and carried cream baskets filled with ivory rose petals.

Benito “Theo” Zamora, of Savannah, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Paul Stokes Sr., father of the groom, and Paul Stokes Jr., Patrick Stokes and Buddy Stokes, all brothers of the groom, of Brunswick. Ushers were Marc Headley and Greg Knapp, both of Savannah. Brewer Mills Deck, cousin of the bride, of Sunflower, served as ring-bearer. Greeters and program attendants were Nancy Newton and Peggy Keithcart, both of Brunswick.

The bride’s family honored the couple with a reception following the ceremony at the Historic City Hall in downtown Brunswick with deejay Zach Strickland providing the entertainment.

Following the rehearsal, Ronnie Stokes and family honored the wedding party, family and guests with a low country boil.

Local prenuptial parties included a bridal luncheon hosted by Amanda Holeman and Betty Harris at the Olive Garden.

Following a honeymoon to Nashville, Tenn., the couple will reside in Savannah.
