It's The (Brad) Pitts!

You would think that being nominated for an Academy Award, rebuilding the ramshackled home one of the kids from Slumdog Millionaire’s, adopting children in need, helping rebuild a post Katrina New Orleans, and oh yes, did I mention being married to one of the most beautiful women in the world would be enough for one man. That is unless your name is Brad Pitt, who can now add directing traffic at busy intersections in the Peoples Republic of The Soviet Union to his resume. Here is how important an image, AKA a brand is. A replica (mannequin) of the Hollywood macho man wearing a Russian traffic police uniform has been placed on the street in Omsk, in the hope that Mr. Pitt’s unexpected presence will reduce the number of accidents on the dangerous section of road (i.e. get Russians to slow down, more vodka please!). According to local traffic police in outer Sibera, Pitt looks so real, that upon seeing him on standing in the middle of the road, with a slow down sign firmly placed in his fiberglass hand, drivers reduce their speed in order to shake hands with the star. The head of the traffic police, Dmitry Zaryanov, told Komsomolskaya Pravda Daily “there are many dangerous spots in Omsk, but a shortage of policemen. We had to improvise.”And so they did. An average traffic inspector of medium height was chosen to play the role of the plastic road policeman. However, instead of showing the face of a real Russian police officer, (insert image of Vladimir Putin) the traffic inspector in Omsk asked manufacturers to copycat the image of Mr. Pitt. It only cost $113.00 dollars extra to make one mannequin featuring the image of Brad Pitt. Just slightly more than he was paid for playing “Benjamin Button”.Would I slow down for me Pitt? I would do way more than that!
