Irish model Nicola Hughes brands ex Alex Mytton a 'gross, vile human being'

The former pageant queen has featured on Made in Chelsea with Mytton since 2015, but the pair shockingly split over the summer. He is currently appearing on the show's summer spin-off MIC: South of France where it was revealed he slept with co-star Olivia Bentley.

He then told his pals he broke with girlfriend of two years over text message.

And Nicola has slammed her ex in a scathing interview with new! magazine, saying: "It was upsetting but then I laughed about it. He's gross, a vile human."

"I would never lower myself to getting back with him.

"I hope he finds whoever makes him happy. I thought I was pretty good, but obviously not."

The former couple's relationship was a supporting plotline on the popular E4 reality show and it's not the first time Mytton found his personal relationships under the microscope - his cheating on ex-girlfriend Binky Felstead made for one of the most compelling storylines in the early days of the show.

But Nicola previously said his past infidelities hadn't turned her off pursuing a romance with the lothario DJ.

"Maybe girls in the past let him do whatever he wants, but he says I’m able to keep him on his toes," Nicola told The Herald.

"So that seems to be working for me. He says I’m very honest and straight to the point and he likes that. I don’t keep him on that short of a leash, he does whatever he wants."

Meanwhile, she said she's back in the dating pool and seems to have a think for Binky's exes.

"I'm definitely single,she added. "I'm not seeing anyone but I have been on dates with one of Binky's exes, who she dated two years ago. She's so angry about it."

"I didn't know who he was. I was in a bar called STK in London and a friend invited me over to his table. We exchanged numbers but there's nothing there. I don't want to be associated with him."

While her future on the show is uncertain, she's expected to feature in some episodes of the next series to wrap up her plot with Mytton as she was recently spotted having lunch with Lucy Watson.
