Kelsie Jensen was supposed to be an August bride but then her fiance Lance Corporal Robert Gladhill found out his December deployment got moved up.

"He got orders to deploy in September and we don't want to be married for just one month. We want to have extra time so we pushed it up to June to have three extra months together," said Jensen.

"This is the first time we experienced a situation with our military that had been deployed and bumping up their ceremony," said Rene Dagostino, manager of The Palace.

Management at The Palace worked with the 20-year-old couple from Pennsville, New Jersey.

Already planning the wedding was tough with Gladhill stationed in South Carolina.

"Very long journey - kinda tough planning it together while being 600 miles apart," said Gladhill.

"I was beside myself but it wasn't too bad to get it moved up because we knew ahead of time. We knew in January or February so we had time to get it moved up," said Jensen.

But The Palace made it happen for the 150 guests.

In the bridal party was the groom's father, who retired from the Air Force, and the bride's brother, who is in the Army.

The families are used to shifting their lives according to military orders.

And on Sunday, even the weather worked out with bright blue skies - something that may not have been the case if they tied the knot August 23rd as originally planned.

"It's an honor to be able to accommodate a bride and groom especially when that's one of our American heroes who will be going and fighting for our country's freedom," said Dagostino.

The couple had a fun reception after the ceremony.

The bride is in school but will be headed to South Carolina for the summer before the groom heads overseas.

As for their honeymoon, that will wait until after the deployment.
