How to Make Your Clothes Durable

8858649687?profile=originalHave you ever thought about paying that ‘extra’ attention to your clothes, so that they last longer? Well, we all want our favorite pairs of clothes to stay with us for a lifetime but do we actually do something in order to keep them looking young? This blog saves you from all the hassle of wondering how you should do it and gives some easy steps that can give a longer life to your loved men’s clothing.

1. Bobbles should be banished: You must have clothes that have bobbles or the tiny thread like balls that occur on the clothes after being worn for some time. They surely get worse with age and should be removed with the help of specialized combs or bobble remover available online. They make clothes look young and new as always.

2. Do not wash them often: You should understand the fact that washing your clothes in the washing machine with harsh detergents do no good to the clothes; in fact, they shorten their age. Hence, if you think they look clean and smell good; do not wash them that instant. However, do not apply this for your men’s underwear, sportswear and inner wear. They need to be cleaned every day.

3. Know when to fold or hang: Do you fold your shirts, pants and sweatshirts as well? Then probably you’re doing it the wrong way. Suits and shirts are always supposed to be hanged using a hanger in order to prevent creasing and keeping them in shape. However, sweaters or any knitwear style should be folded gently to prevent hanger marks from the same.

4. Empty your pockets: It happens many times that your coins kind of get stuck in the washing machine when you forget to empty your pocket. Coins, paper tissues and any other material left in the pocket of your denims or trousers would hamper your clothes. Make sure you check all the pockets before pushing the ‘ON’ button.

5. Wash colored clothes separately: This has ruined my numerous clothes when I started doing my laundry myself. It was the hard way to learn, but now I know what to do. Make sure you wash the different colored clothes separately. This would reduce the chances of discoloring one clothing and transfer the color to the other clothes.

6. Show them the sunlight: Hanging the clothes to dry in the sunlight is a healthy process for the clothes. However, excessive sunlight has the tendency to shrink, fade and damage the clothes. So, be smart and quick when it comes to drying clothes outside.

These tips are handy, useful and very easy. If you love your clothes, make sure they live longer than the normal with these tips. Happy clothing!!
