How to Get Bella Hadid's Met Gala Glow

As soon as Mary Phillips laid eyes on the sheer, curve-hugging Alexander Wang catsuit Bella Hadid wore to the Met Gala on Monday night, the makeup artist knew the supermodel's makeup couldn't be "super bold," she says. "It was all about that bod, and that bod in the bodysuit. She looks unbelievable to me."

Seventies-meets-nineties supermodel is how Phillips describes the radiant look, centered around a glowy complexion amped up with soft hints of color across the cheeks, lids and lips.

After prepping the skin with products Dior Life Micellar Water ("This is great for people who wear little to no makeup on a regular basis," says Phillips) and Dior Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Creme to even out the skin, Phillips dusted the apples of Hadid’s cheeks and the forehead near the hairline with DiorBlush Vibrant Color Powder Blush in Mimi Bronze. "It gives a beautiful ‘lit’ appearance," she explains.

To contour the cheeks and bring out the golden undertones of Hadid’s flawless complexion, Phillips turned to DiorBlush Sculpt Professional Contouring Powder Sculpt
, applied under the apples of the cheeks. "Sheer but not too sheer, not sparkly. Just right," she says.

"Make sure you pick your best versions of bronzes and browns, it's not easy to pull off," explains Phillips for those looking to re-create the look at home. "For a going-out look, go with ‘less is more’ for this."

Adding to the subtle shine: Hadid’s lips, which were lined using Dior Contour Couture Color, Voluptuous Care in Jungle Brown and layered with Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in #420 Underground.
