They are in fact fixed to the floor but adhere completely to the wall, creating a beautiful aesthetic effect but being the bulkiest sanitary ware ever.

Choosing this type of sanitary ware means choosing design products, with sometimes rather high prices, with higher standards of hygiene provided they are installed in a workmanlike manner. The cleaning of the bathroom can be more complete and there is no risk of damaging the drain and ducts because they are incorporated into the sanitaryware itself.

As far as the negative aspects are concerned, it is necessary to be sure that the work has been carried out in a workmanlike manner, otherwise, there is a risk that, if there are leaks, these will only be seen when the disaster is complete, with the possibility of the rain seeping into the walls with consequent mold and unpleasant odors. It is also necessary to make sure that the sanitary fixture does not move away from the wall, creating an unsightly crack that can also become a hygiene problem in the long run.

Choosing wall-hung sanitary fixtures instead means focusing on a modern and visually light bathroom. This type of sanitary ware is striking for its beauty and is hygienic because the bathroom becomes easy and practical to clean without obstacles. They also have a smaller footprint and underneath them, if desired, there is also room for something.

The disadvantages are related to the installation. They can only be placed on an important wall because they have to enter the masonry for at least 12 centimeters and the wall drain is indispensable. If they have not been installed perfectly they may also deviate from the wall, and are not suitable for "oversize" people.
