HCG DIET RECIPE FRENCH ONION SOUP

Description:

With sweet onions, a bubbling layer of melted cheese on top and slices of golden toast, this French

onion soup is brewed with a perfect balance of flavors. It is quite useful for people beginning the phase1 of the HCG diet offering about 100 calories.

Ingredients:

• 1 onion thinly sliced.

• 2 cups beef broth.

• 3-4 garlic cloves, minced.

• 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.

• 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar substitute (stevia).

Directions:

Preheat a non-stick saucepan over medium heat.

Place onions and garlic in pan and cook uncovered for 5-10 minutes.

Stir in the stevia.

Cook 10-15 minutes until the onions are caramelized.

Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.

Add black pepper and serve.
