Right in the middle of winter sales and still having a couple of cold months ahead, the spring campaigns are already here. Neither I and my sister are winter persons so this is just another reason to be anxious for the springtime to come.
Playing with different combinations of boots, coats and pullovers is cool and funny but nothing beats an edgy tank top, some trashed denim shorts and a pair of flat sandals to get ready for a journey of long walks under the melting sun.
One of our first purchases of spring will most definitely be some garment from Gestuz’s new collection. If their fall-winter collection left us in awe (we loved every single piece!) this new season’s stuff oozes pure awesomeness!
Once again the Danish brand has chosen top Amanda Norgaard to graciously pose for their campaign and also this time for the lookbook.
For the spring 2011 Gestuz goes for soft, light and ultra-feminine clothes without leaving behind their edgy, rocker and sort of charmingly-wild style. The design team did a really nice job with the mix of textures like leather and sheer fabrics, nude colors and beautiful prints and the always powerful presence of black.
It took us a long time to decide which pictures would make the final cut for this post because every outfit from the catalogue has that ’special something’ to catch our attention.
