Futura Fair took place at the RDS Dublin on February 28/2 March 2010.

Beaming sunshine welcomed Buyers and Exhibitors to the event and all breathed a sigh of relief that the snow had not hampered their attendance.

The Fair proved a success for all new areas introduced for the first time this season. Lingerie had lots of brands to offer and will no doubt be even more successful for the August event on 15/17.

The contemporary area included brands such as Lipsy, Hunters & Gatherers, Motel and Savuka and the Fair proved a great success for them.

We were very pleased to welcome the French Pavilion offering many seductive and existing brands to the Irish marketplace. Each brand attracted the attention of the Irish Buyers over the course of the Fair.

Our long established brands experienced a good flow of buyers over the 3 days with Sunday exceeding their expectations.

Carol McKeown of Gina Bacconi said that on the Sunday, she did not stop writing orders until 6pm and hardly had time to take a break!

Kelly Craig of accessory brand Bardot said ÒFutura has expanded our customer base in Ireland. We had a successful and productive show and we look forward to the autumn FairÕÕ.

Ken Spencer of Icon Fashion Accessories said his debut at Futura proved very successful. ÔÕI achieved my objectives and had the added bonus of taking good orders at the showÕÕ.

Futura Fair will take place August 15/17, 2010.
