What options are there for custom folding boxes?
You can choose the base for your custom folding box: choose the base that suits your needs. Should it be extremely stable, set up automatically or be inexpensive? Depending on the situation, we recommend the floor with tuck-in flaps (inexpensive and easy to handle), the floor with tuck-in flaps (relatively stable) or the automatic floor (extremely stable and automatically erectable)
You can order folding boxes in four materials: white chromo cardboard, natural side and natural cardboard in black or brown. The different papers allow you to give your custom product packaging box very different effects - from clean (chromo cardboard) to natural (chromo cardboard back) to modern (brown natural cardboard) and classy (black natural cardboard).

How are folding boxes with viewing windows made?
All folding boxes, whether with or without a viewing window, are first punched. The flat shape of the future packaging with viewing window is punched out of the printed or neutral printed sheets with the help of cutting dies. If you order a viewing window for your folding box, the hole for the viewing window will be punched out at the same time as the box is punched.
Where can the viewing window be placed on the folding box?
If you opt for a folding box with a viewing window, you can specify the exact dimensions of the viewing window in the configurator so that it shows exactly the area that should be visible. Please note the minimum distance between the viewing window of 10mm from the edge. The maximum size of the viewing window depends on the format of the folding box with viewing window and is calculated automatically.
The following options for the viewing window are possible:
Variable shapes, for example square, round, oval, ...
Placement of the viewing window in the lid
Simply state the desired shape / placement in the comment field after you have placed your order.
Gluing behind viewing windows is also possible. Here, a foil blank is stuck behind the punched hole - usually a PVC foil. A film makes sense when there is a risk that the products could fall out of the box or when a product has to be protected for hygienic reasons.
