Cannes film festival has also witnessed some of the mind boggling fashion trends from Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor surprised the crowd by adding vintage glamor to her looks at the Chopard party at Cannes with a black strapless gown. Model Bella Hadid caused a tremor on the Cannes red carpet in her split red silk dress by Alexandre Vauthier during the screening of Unknown Girl. The silk wrap gown was low-cut, backless, however the long slit went dangerously close to showing a lot more than a 19-year-old would care for. Bella paired the gown with sparkling diamonds, an elegant swept updo hair and sky-high black heels, carrying off the dress without a single mishap. At least there wasn’t one which would have been caught on camera.

Kendall Jenner's figure-hugging black Roberto Cavalli Couture dress had been an eye stealing number in the Cannes 2016. The floor-length dress with an adorned cobra-like lace overlay and a Victorian style neckline shot up the glam on the red carpet, and Jenner has been a sheer representation of the couture design.

Model Iman’s skin-baring halter neck cut-out gown scores big points on the risqué factor. The silver and pink metallic number, clubbed with a pair of fortress tall gold heels and a small, box like clutch bag completed the head-turning look. The red carpet was blessed with Kristen Stewart, who's been making special appearance all through the festival, she had a Chanel shirt and lavishly printed full skirt to the premiere of the Cafe Society. She was aware of the importance of the pockets, but overall the look just didn't cut it.

Toni Garrn, the German model was spotted with a strapless black dress with a daring-high slit in the red carpet. The gown had quirky triangle-shaped panels at the chest which exuded flirtatiousness. Model Izabel Goulart arrived on the red carpet in a lingerie. Blush-hued brushed silk made for a tie-waist duster coat over the intricately beaded bodice with outlined cups.
