Fashion going against the grain.

For a long time I have been interested in the correlation between fashion and art and ideas stemming from mixing the two together. Paul Smith asked Alexandra Sennes to ask 10 designers to create a window at legendary Paris store Printemps. From the Paul Smith site : "Paul wanted to show that his clothes can be worn by anybody. He created twelve life size cut outs of his body in the same clothes and then placed different masks of famous people onto them. When the window opened to the public, Paul was in situ in the middle of the window pretending to be a cut out."I have always enjoyed when designers have metaphorically pushed the boat, and embraced the visual effect that fashion can have by introducing the idea that even though his brand despite being stereotyped in the already maxed out genre of male fashion, can play a relavent part in all sexes lives.
