The collaboration of brands of clothes and shoes among themselves - it's a habit. But recently such partnerships have been modified - now fashion brands cooperate with technology companies
What are the results of such cooperation? Let's consider some examples.

Рeadphones from Dolce & Gabbana

Autumn-winter show Dolce & Gabbana, of course, will forever be remembered to us by charming children and pregnant Bianka Balti on the podium. But the hearts of millions of girls conquered not only these two touching facts but also the bright accessories of the collection. For example, stunningly cool headphones, in which models were defile, as if in precious diadems or luxurious headdresses. Of course, many people use both classical headphones and even more headsets, and I even saw someone with Headphones for TV, but the project of Dolce & Gabbana undoubtedly deserves a respectable first place in the category of hi-tech accessory.

Jean jacket
The American clothing manufacturer Levi's together with the division of Google ATAP (Advanced Technologies and Products), working in the field of promising ideas and technologies, created a smart jeans jacket. This is the first thing that uses Project Jacquard technology, which turns a common garment into a kind of device capable of sending commands to a smartphone.

For example, the jacket will allow you to switch music tracks on the phone by touching the sleeve cuff where the control system is built-in. This should help the user not to be distracted from controlling the car or bicycle.

The dark blue jacket has attributes characteristic of many items of Levi's wardrobe: light-reflecting strips that will protect a pedestrian on the street in the dark, additional pockets on the sleeves for greater air permeability. It is known that the jacket should appear on sale in autumn 2017 at a price of $ 350. Earlier, the output was scheduled for the spring of 2017, but the start of sales was postponed.

Clever Sneakers
In April, the sales of "smart" 90 Minutes Ultra Smart sneakers start in the Chinese market, in the creation of which the Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi (more precisely, its sub-brand Mijia) and IT giant Intel participated. Sneakers with a built-in Intel Curie chip will be able to track the physical activity of their owner and send data to the smartphone. The development of the model involved specialists from the Shanghai Science and Technology University.

90 Minutes Ultra Smart are specially created for sports fans. During physical activity, the sneakers determine the start and end point of the movement, the distance the user has crossed, the speed with which he moved, the number of calories spent, and so on. All received data sneakers are sent to a special mobile application.

90 Minutes Ultra Smart is available in two variations - for women and men in different colors. Inside the sneakers are placed antibacterial insoles and cushioning inserts in the sole, made of light foam-like material. The price of the "gadget" is about 45 dollars.

Virtual fitting room
In early 2017, another partnership was announced for the clothing brand and technology giant. The company GAP has opened a "virtual dressing room" DressingRoom in conjunction with Google. The project involved the company Avametric, which specializes in software for the fashion industry.

With the help of a smartphone and an application with Augmented Reality technology, a user can quickly and easily try on clothes. First, you need to select one of the styles of clothing Gap, and then - your type of figure. If the clothes "fit", then the application will offer to buy it in the online store.

The DressingRoom project was to attract buyers to the GAP brand who prefer online shopping and do not like to shop. While the development is available only for smartphones on the Google Tango platform - in particular, Asus ZenFone AR.
