Launched in 1999 by GRI, EQ:IQ opens a new chapter this year with a development strategy that aims at establishing the brand as a global lifestyle international player. Under the guidance of GRI’s CCO Fred Allard, EQ:IQ is blooming in every aspect – style, logo, packaging, advertising, store design – thanks to a set of international talents such as Antwerp-based fashion designer Christian Wijnants, winner of the 2013 International Woolmark Prize, French accessories designer Yannick Flageul, New York based Art Director Malin Ercison and Creative Consultant Franck Salzwedel, acclaimed Dutch photographer Viviane Sassen who shot the EQ:IQ campaign for the last 2 seasons, and last but not least, the Swedish International top model Sara Blomqvist.

The creative journey will continue with the introduction of the “Home of EQ:IQ.” A collection of high-end collectibles from around the world, currently available in the new EQ:IQ store that just opened in Hubin Intime, Hangzhou. A wide modern space that presents the complete artistic world of EQ:IQ and showcases the understated elegance of the clothing. Gigantic back-lit images of the campaign are displayed throughout the space, setting a colorful tone for the future.

New EQ:IQ stores will also be gracing modern and upscale shopping locations such as the Kerry Centre in Shanghai and Sanlitun in Beijing. And in September, EQ:IQ will open its first store in France, in the very heart of Paris’ fashion, Rue Boissy d’Anglas.
