Today is one of my favorite holidays right next to Halloween, it’s EARTH DAY! Earth Day is more than a one-day event or annual environmental wake up call to the public, it is a catalyst for ongoing education, action, and change. Could there be anything better than that? Earth Day aims to inspire awareness of and appreciation for earth’s environment. Planet Earth is really at a turning point now so I ask you all to plant a tree or flowers, stop to pick up a piece of trash on the sidewalk or stop by your local consignment shops to buy clothing that has already been manufactured. We all can live a very stylish lifeSTYLE believe me I’ve been doing this now for over 32 years and I always look stylish in my second hand, thrifted, recycled, used etc etc clothing… So today instead of stopping by your local mall to shop for clothing, stop by your local consignment stores and shop “green”. Shop for your items that are recycled and repurposed… That’s living a sustainable lifeSTYLE… Happy Earth Day and thank you Mother Nature for all your gifts.
