The 1st Annual Kate Linder Celebrity Charity Gala is bringing out an evening of Stars! Celebrities are joining together with Kate Linder to support The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter at the beautiful Montage Beverly Hills Hotel.

PR Log (Press Release) – Jan 14, 2010 – The Kate Linder Celebrity Charity Gala, benefiting The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter will be held February 11, 2010 from 6 PM to 10 PM at the beautiful and luxurious Montage Beverly Hills.

The Gala is bringing together a bevy of celebrities in support of Kate Linder and The ALS Association, Greater Los Angeles Chapter. Stars and personalities of various age groups are joining together for the evening's festivities and fundraising efforts.

Rip Taylor, Bruce Davison, Drew Seeley, Amy Paffrath, Michelle Stafford, Romi Dames, RJ Mitte, Sean Kanan, Stacy Haiduk, Vanessa Marano, Joell Posey, Hayley Erin, Yvonne Zima are among others showing their support for this extraordinary event.
Celebrities will be walking the runway with sponsor products and services to be auctioned during the evening to raise funds for the charity. Sponsor products will also be presented to attending celebrities in gift bags. Some items to be auctioned and presented are guitars signed by groups such as the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Doors and others. The evening begins with celebrities on the red carpet. A celebrity luxury gift suite and cocktails with sponsor products and services will be showcased to attending celebrities and personalities. Dinner with celebrities follows, and the product runway preludes the live auction to close the festivities. Silent auctions will be available during the event as well.

Actress Kate Linder, who for 24 years has portrayed Esther Valentine on CBS’ top rated soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” has been presented with The ALS Association’s (ALSA) All-Star Award in Washington, D.C.
Linder received the award on May 16 at ALSA’s Celebration of Excellence Reception and Awards Presentation. The ceremony was held during ALSA’s 2006 National ALS Advocacy Day and Public Policy Conference, May 15-17.

She was selected for the award in recognition of her advocacy efforts on behalf of ALSA. The All-Star Award recognizes volunteers whose personal initiative and extraordinary contributions on behalf of ALS have expanded the advocacy and awareness efforts to help increase public awareness of the disease.
