You honestly do get a little ‘high’ when you find Dolce
& Gabbana in thrift stores, at least I do. When I first saw
the D&G logo inside the black viscoseskirt size
8, I just couldn’t help but spread the love everywhere. There are
certain labels you find often in thrift stores, I won’t name the names
but they know who they are, Dolce & Gabbana isn’t one of them.
Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana founded Dolce & Gabbana in
1982, showing their first women’s collection in Milan three years later
to widespread praise. Madonna famously wore one of D & G shirts in
1991 to the Cannes Film Festival, years later in 2010 she would appear
in their ad campaign. This classic skirt was priced at $5.25. I
founded 2 blouses that I think would l0ok killer with this skirt. The
first one is by Alberto
Makali wild crazy mix of patterns with accordion fabric that
completely hugs and contours the body. Gorgeous just gorgeous. The
second blouse was this Romeo
& Juliet Couture black sequined sexy as all hell top. Founded
in 1999 for the European market by David Shamouelian & Joseph Nazar,
the collection is currently available at Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue,
Fred Segal and many more fine specialty stores. Each blouse was priced
at $4.00, so for a grand total of $13.25 you have 2 completely
different ensembles. Don’t forget to shop at The Thrifters Boutique
and follow me on Twitter & Facebook. Be sure to check out my YouTube videos
I’ve made about thrifting. Toodles for now. Daniel
