I tell you it’s very hard for me to pass on buying Halston when I’m at any thrift store. I found this 2 piece dress with matching jacket, in the coolest of cool color, Halston from the 80′s and couldn’t refuse. When I search 1stdibs.com website for Halston they range in price from $600-4,500, he’s American Fashion Royalty so why would you expect less from this brand? You know by 1972 he had already received his 4th COTY Award? That’s just amazing to me and as time marching on I promise you I’ll never not pay tribute to this genius that bought so much joy to women. I wish I could find anything by Azzedine Alaia especially this Alaia wide leather waist belt because I would put it on this 2 piece Halston and really crank up the WOW factor on it…. Dressing today is such an amazing adventure because when you have outlets such as thrift stores, flea markets &consignment boutiques there really isn’t any excuse as to why some people dress so damn frumpy ! Keep it ‘green’ and please recycle, reuse & reduce any and all waste. I’m your luxury curator!
