Color Block

Hey what's up everyone? I hope y'll are having a great weekend.
I decided to write about color block because it's been distinguishably one of the most noticeable trends this summer.
So what's the color blocking/ color block?

Makeupandbeauty.com defines it as:
[Colour block fashion] one of the hottest new trends for the season. It combines the use of two or more blocks of colour in an ensemble. This could be for a top, bottom, tunic, a dress and even a handbag or shoes. Simply it means – creating an outfit by putting areas or blocks of solid color next to each other. It can include monotone, bright colours, muted colors, contrasting and complimentary colors.
Let's look at some examples:

Hollywood stars are also favoring this trend. It's seen everywhere, from Kim Kardashian to Eva Longoria:

My favorite color block combinations so far have been orange + dark blue, fuschia + emerald and nude + deep sky blue as you can see from my sets. Another combination that people have been using a lot is purple and orange. These two colors complement each other well as you can tell from Cheryl Cole and Jessica Alba's outfit.
Okay let's play with colors a little bit:

What's your favorite color combination? And would you wear them out?
And what do you think about this trend? Do you like it? Or you hate it? Why?
