It’s a very rare find indeed to nab a pair of Helmut Lang slacks size 8 at any thrift store. These slacks are in pristinecondition and look as if they had never been worn, so HURRAH for me.Helmut Lang was acquired from the Prada group in 2006 and led bycreative directors Nicole and Michael Colovos. Their motto is“Construction. Utilitarian. Tailoring. Design.” Everything about thisbrand reeks of luxury and to think I paid just $6.00 for them whentheir retail value is somewhere in the neighborhood of $375-425. Laterin the day I scored this vintage Christian Diorjacket size 6 and I do mean vintage, pre John Galliano. Fabulous waistcut length and tailored to perfection, does anyone expect anything lessfrom Dior? The price for the jacket was $4.00 so together with theHelmut Lang slacks total is $10. Can you look any chicer than this forany less? If you can please tell me about because maybe I’m in thewrong profession here. I’m all about hunting for a bargain and bringmy clients the absolute best luxury brands and making them look like amillion dollars. Everyone can look this stylish and not go broke doingso.
