Business Dresses for Work

Dressing for job interviews used to be pretty simple: regardless of business, job title, or sex, the appropriate outfit was a variation on a lawsuit. For folks in casual or creative industries, job interviews may be the only time they wore that suit, but wear it they did -- or else. It was understood that hiring managers would not look kindly on applicants who showed up to interview in anything but a lawsuit. After the dress code to your business is business casual, it only means that you don't have to wear a suit. However, it does not call for casual attire such as jeans and T-shirts. Conservative dresses and skirts will also be acceptable apparel. A man's choice for business casual carries a tee shirt, collared shirt or sweater. Khaki or dress trousers together with dress shoes make up his company casual outfit. He doesn't need to wear a tie.
