Bridal trends that will take over 2019

There is no exaggeration to say that the royal wedding has changed the wedding trends. Now every wedding is influenced by it, from the engagement photos to the flower bouquet and wedding dress. Brides consider that they have to look perfect but without seeming that put too much effort. The future brides want to look as beautiful as a princess on their wedding day, but this does not mean that all of them want to wear a princess gown. And considering that Meghan Markle changed her wedding gown for the reception with a more modern dress, there is no wonder that women consider the option of having not one but two dresses. Here are some major trends we expect to see in 2019, so future brides do we have your attention?

The Markle wedding gown

There is no surprise that this is the first trend we expect to see the next wedding season. Brides should try the boat neck, because it is an element woman do not usually choose when it comes to their wedding gowns. This is one of the necklines Audrey Hepburn preferred and it is flattering no matter what body type the bride has. The key to obtaining a look similar to Meghan’s is to choose a simple dress with an ample veil and a beautiful tiara.

One dress multiple looks

If there are brides who want to have a different look at the reception they should consider trying a multi-purpose dress. Why buy two dresses when you can buy one that comes with a detachable train or sleeves. Carolina Herrera, Galia Lahav and Lela Rose promote this type of dresses because the bride is the one who decides how she wants to customise her look.

A dress for a unique bride

Just because Meghan is the inspiration for the next season wedding dresses it does not mean that all brides have to wear white dresses. If there is a future-bride who wants something different, then she should check the collection Vera Wang just launched. There are gowns in beige, saffron, cherry red, and lilac, perfect to be worn by the women who want to feel unique on their wedding day. The dresses can be matched with hairstyles in pastel colours cared with organic hair care products. Even Inbal Dror created coloured wedding gowns that remind us of the Cinderella dress Lily James worn.

The va-va-voom dress

The lingerie trend is not going anywhere in 2019, so the brides who want to show everyone how sexy they are, can choose a dress that leaves nothing to imagine. Well, they will still wear a bra top, if they want it, because these experimental dresses are designed to trick the eye. Viviene Westwood and Danielle Frankel are only some of the designers who brought on the runaway corset dresses.

The cape dresses

A woman does not have to wear a veil to feel like a bride, a cape can be a great replacement. They will obtain a dramatic look, as the models who worn the dresses created by Reem Acra and Elie Saab. Cape dresses are embellished with embroideries and crystals, or even jewelleries. Some would say the Daenerys Targaryaen is their inspiration, but who knows? Wedding capes are our new obsession!
