I do wedding make up for fun & money on weekends. That would give you experience & act as a platform to showcase your natural talents. If you put together a really professional kit & have loads of practice on brides (you can advertise as a freelance make up artist or work through word of mouth)..that way you will have a portfolio of pics to maybe approach a magazine or model agency or call your TV stations they often audition new artists before you work for them. Also if you want a sound basis - do a professional course & work for beauty counters in department stores - you will get to do make up everyday on all kinds of faces..hope this helps? x

yeah i can give a gud advice i thing if think ur a really gud make up artist start it on ur friends do it on occations so wen they go there i think word ov mouth will work and try 2 do it in niche market or just appointment and make ppl ready at their home because sum ppl just 2 like 2 go 2 parlour and wait 4 hours n hours and in home they will feel comfartable buh UR MAKE UP SHOULD HAVE SUMTHING WHICH OTHER PPL DNT HAVE ...................just believe in ur self n do it
