WHAT IS TECHPACK
A Techpack is a set of informative sheets that convey exact specifications for the making of any design before starting the garment manufacturing process.
WHO NEEDS A TECHPACK
Any garment manufacturing company, hand bag manufacturer, fashion accessory company and any other company that requires technical specifications for a specific product or design needs to prepare a techpack. Details given in the tech-pack will all vary according to the type of product or design made and the size of each company. Large manufacturing companies generally have a detailed techpack for each of the styles under production.
When you create a Tech pack for your design your Techpack becomes a
de facto contract between you and your manufacturer. When manufacturing overseas many times you will find that contractors not always follow the sew by sample you submitted to them for the making of your design because they decided to switch materials or put the wrong trim on the first fit sample they submitted to you. A tech pack should include actual swatches of everything - fabric, buttons, ribbons, etc - plus an actual sample. A complete tech pack gives you support in case of problems.
Companies that do exports and manufacture their designs overseas preparation of a Techpack is imperative, as most buyers prefer to sign on the techpack before placing the order.
HOW TO GET STARTED
1.) Please send us your Tech pack sample you have used earlier so that we can analyze the time consumption and provide you with a prize quotation for each Tech pack you want to create.
2.) Tell us what type of garments you need to create tech packs for, You can send us illustrator sketches of your designs, pictures or actual garments.
3.) Once we have revised the information you submitted to us we will give you a prize quote for your Tech Pack. Upon approval, our staff will immediately start working on your Tech Pack creation.
4.) Turn around time for the creation of your tech pack will depend on the amount of information needed on your tech pack and the amount of work in progress we have. Normally you should be able to get a 1-10 page tech pack in 10 working days or less depending on the Tech Pack lay out and number of pages in each design you make.
We will provide you with the Techpack file in PDF or adobe illustrator file (AI) as requested.
