The Fashion Industries Favorite Business Network ...

http://www.exposedenvy.com I would say no. I personally can't think of one anyway. There is something essential, clean and sophisticated about the two together. I wear a great deal of black and white and feel I never go wrong with it! It's the contrast? Perhaps that's what makes it crisp? Oh yeah, I remember now, it's that black makes us look thinner! Just remember to follow my lead and keep the black below the waste!

Well, first of all I believe the thing that makes black and white more essential is because of the contrast. This makes the outfit definitely stand out more because it is more interesting to the eye.
Of course, I could not agree with you more about keeping the black below the waist. All women want to emphasize their assets such as bust and waist, which we can accomplish with white because it is a brighter color. Brighter colors tend to advance and enlarge an area.
But if someone has super legs they can always pull off the opposite, that is if they want to emphasize their legs.
When I wear black and white, I always add a little color using a statement accessory. Then, definitely you will not go wrong with the outfit.
