History
Paris fashion has a rich heritage and dates back to the time when Louis XVI ruled France. He is said to have been chiefly responsible for establishing Paris as a fashion capital, as he understood the need to dress like an aristocrat. He would throw lavish parties and encourage his guests to dress up in the finest clothes that Paris had to offer.
