Truth be told, I never met Alexander McQueen nor am I friends with any of his friends or family. Therefore, I do not have any direct experience to characterize his qualities as a person in one way or another. With that said, I can fairly state that I was very impressed with his work as an international fashion designer. In my opinion, he was extremely gifted.
Alexander McQueen truly had a talent that was evident in his collections. It is clear that he was a treasure to the fashion industry. He will certainly be missed by many.

Although we did not all personally know Alexander, I think that it is clear that the fashion industry as a whole has lost a true talent. It is a shame that we have lost him so early.
