Woke up to your boyfriend’s room? Don’t worry if you don’t have your overnight bag with you. He’s going to love you more for not making a big fuss about not having to wear. Come on, you were in the heat of the moment and now that you’re out of it, ‘What to do? What to do?”

Relax and take a deep breath, Woman! Think you can’t be fashionable and stylish with nothing but his t-shirt on?  Here are 5 ways that will powerfully disprove your theory and 5 ways you’re likely going to love to keep doing over and over again the next time you sleep over:

 1. Put on that plain shirt and tie it to a knot.

It’s one of the easiest ways you can style any plain shirt, whether yours or your boyfriend’s.  Simply tie it to a knot to cinch your waistline.You may choose to tie it upfront or at the back. The trick is to let it hang loose. Use with the bottoms you had last night. Whether you were wearing a skirt or a pair of pants, this technique will make you look effortlessly and instantly glammed.

Shirt and denims always look great with a matching pair of heeled pumps, ankle boots, knee-high boots or ankle-strapped sandals. When you are wearing your shirt with a skirt that’s calf-length, only the pumps and the sandals will be flattering.

2. Take that plain v-neck and tuck it in.

 Again, use the same bottoms you have. Tuck your boyfriend’s shirt loose. If you have blings you can match, dress it up with your accessories. If you have matching blazers and flats, that will be a perfect match up on this occasion that calls for your quick trending fashion wits. Add genius to your outfit by rolling up the sleeves if it looks or feels a little bit oversized for you.

 3. Turn his shirt into a dress.

Care for a shirt dress?  Go over your boyfriend’s polo shirts and you just might find a plain, a striped or a checked shirt that you can easily slip into and turn into a dress. You might also find a long-sleeved, cotton sweat shirt somewhere in his likely messy stash. Simply use a belt and let it hang loose over to one side.  

Of course you can always wear any of these two options with a pair of tight fitting jeans or leggings, just in case you have one in your layers.

 4. Oversized tees and an off-shoulder dress or shirt for you.

 If you can find an oversized shirt in your boyfriend’s wardrobe, you can easily create your posh style of the day.  Wear assymetrically with one side off the shoulder. If you’re using it as a top, you can either let it hang loose, tuck it in or tie it into a knot. If you’re using it as a dress, you can just leave it as it is or leave a belt or any ribbon you can find hanging loosely.

 5.Use his plaid shirt underneath your vest or sweater.

With this outfit, nobody will be able to tell where you were last night so hush, hush. If you or your boyfriend has a sweater or a vest that goes well with any of his collared shirts, simply put these two together.  With your collared shirt underneath, top with the vest or sweater and let the collars show.  If you’re wearing a long sweater, fold the cuffs to over your sweaters too.
