As the summer months are in full swing, it's nice to bask in the rays of the sun, enjoy sundresses and relaxation throughout the season. So many people use the summer months to travel, enjoy the beach and make great memories with friends. As a result, most ladies prefer an effortless vibe with their fashion and beauty looks. Whether you're traveling to the Caribbean islands or going on a hiking trip, there are plenty of beauty hacks you can try for an effortlessly natural look.

Citrus Lip Balm

Even if you have the most gorgeous red lipstick, it won't look good when your lips are dry and chapped. Take good care of your lips by applying lip balms that will moisturize and hydrate your lips. You can even make this happen with a few oils and natural butters. If you love the smell of all things citrus, add a few drops of sweet orange oil to a blend of coconut oil and shea butter. Once you melt the ingredients down and combine them, put the mixture in a small jar. Let it solidify in the fridge. Now, you'll be able to enjoy a custom-made lip balm for the summer.

 Exfoliating Scrub

If you're enjoying an RV trip to the beach with your family, chances are you're nowhere near a spa. However, you can still enjoy the benefits of smooth, soft skin while you're enjoying the ocean waves. The key is to make your own exfoliating scrub. Sand is an excellent and natural exfoliant. Take a dip in the water to get your skin wet. With damp skin, get comfortable in the sand. Use the sand to gently scrub your skin down. The sand will remove the dead skin. Once you take another dip in the water, you'll come up with fantastically smooth skin.

Aluminum Free  Deodorant

Many over the counter deodorants contain aluminum or can plug up your pores. The advantage of using a natural deodorant is that is vegan and won’t contain gluten, GMO’s, glycol, phthalates, parabens or baking soda.  The great thing with natural remedies is they are cruelty free and sensitive skin approved.

 Clay Masks

Clay masks are incredibly effective in pulling excess oil and debris from the skin. If you're someone who suffers from chronically oily skin, it's good to walk around with blotting sheets. However, that can get cumbersome. Use a clay mask a few times a week.

Nutritional Intake

Be mindful of the foods you eat. That's really half of the battle. Eat foods that are rich with fiber. Consume healthy fruits and vegetables. Drink tons of water. If you want to look beautiful, it starts from the inside. Drinking enough water is the best skincare secret you could have.

Once you create a routine out of these different beauty hacks, you'll increase your chances of glowing like a summer goddess. Make self-care a priority with these really easy hacks. You deserve it. Your body does too.
