You Can't Go Wrong with Black

Black is a woman's best friend, but it will work for men too. It's a color that slenderizes and makes you look chic. It can be dressed up with accessories or dressed down with something casual. You can wear it at any time of year, to any occasion. It's simply a matter of choosing the style you want to go with when you are headed out. You could make it a dress, a skirt, pants, shirt, or jacket. Pick all black or only one item in black and go from there.

Show off Your Greatest Asset

If you want to highlight your best features when you dress, focus on one area at a time. For example, if you have well-defined arms, go sleevless. If your legs are the best thing about you, show them off with shorts. Keep everything else covered up. You'll draw attention to the part of you that is a confidence booster.

Always Have a Button-Down Shirt on Hand

Whether you are a man or a woman, a white-button down can add a touch of class to anything you own. Wear it with jeans, dress pants, or a skirt. It keeps you from looking too casual. At the same time, you can feel like you are dressed for a more elegant occasion when you remember this old standby that will never let you down.

Stock Up on What Works

If you find something that really flatters your figure and makes you feel good about yourself, you have a goldmine. Buy it in several different colors or combinations so that you have something to wear anytime you are in a pinch. You know what you like. There's no shame in having more than one.

Don't Forget Motorcycle Gear and Apparel

If you ride, you're going to need motorcycle gear and apparel. Jeans, riding jersey, and jacket make the perfect ensemble. You'll need riding boots to round out your collection. Even if you don't ride, a few apparel stores, like Jane Motorcycles and similar businesses, have some pretty classy gear that anyone can look good in. You might find something you really like the next time you step into a shop like that and actually check out the clothing.

Fashion isn't rocket science. Stick with your fashion tips, choose colors that work well for you, and make sure your clothing fits well. You'll be able to flatter your figure every time.
