I remember when in the late 70′s and 80′s Bill Blass was the thing and every famous show girl working the runway modeled for him. Delma, Diane DeWitt & Iman all proudly walked this mans shows. Bill Blass is recognized for bring fine couture craftsmanship to American sportswear with precise tailoring and impeccable finishing. Every major NYC socialite loved this man and couldn’t get enough of his designs. So when, in a thrift store, I saw this green silk Bill Blass scarf I just had to grab it and pay my homage to him, plus it looks so damn beautiful worn as a belt for this 2 piece Robert Rodriguez suit I also pillaged. I can never say enough about Robert Rodriguez because this man is a genius after all his designs are sold in Bergdorf Goodman and if you sell your stuff at BG, you pretty much have made it.
