19/20 A/W Men's Sweatshirt -- Sleeve Decoration

Metal zippers vary on sweatshirts, adding fun to sleeves. Faith Connexion shows bold prints when its sleeves are unzipped, revealing a street chic style. Curvy zippers update basic sweatshirts for funky looks.

Webbings are not new for sweatshirts. This season, placement of webbings bring freshness. Versus's black and green sweatshirt employs crossover design to make statement. Webbings can also extend from sleeves to back or hood, as seen at The Thing's red hoodie.

Mock Layer

Mock-layered sleeves are key for sweatshirts, and they continue to prevail in A/W 19/20. The colorway of white and black is preferred by streetwear brands, printed with letters for elevated looks. Solid-color fabrics are layered over printed pieces to add depth.

Printed Letter

Letter printed sleeves are classic for sweatshirts. Different fonts and mix of letters and patterns are important. For example, a blend of color blocks and letters brings youthful and stylish feel to the item.

Color Blocking

Scale and colorway are key for color-blocking design. Zara utilizes white to play contrast with bright yellow, bold and vibrant. Le Coq Sportif's blue, white and red sleeve is classic and energetic. A black sweatshirt teams with dark red and royal blue sleeves for an unassuming effect, as seen at Lanvin.
