Russell Athletic is a very large apparel company... I am curious about why their website currently indicates "New Site Coming January 2008" (by the way, today is January 7th). Today I unfortunately had to delete someones blog post here on the Fashion Industry Network. I feel badly because the person that posted the message may not have realized that the post was not appropriate. This site unfortunately has a very fine line when determining what is good business promotion and what is not so good... I absolutely want everyone to use this website to help promote their own business, but the idea is also to help educate each other. The blog system can be…Continue

"Jockey International, Inc., and Gerber Childrenswear, Inc., a division of Kellwood Company, have entered into a licensing agreement. Effective immediately, Gerber Childrenswear, Inc. will begin the design, production and distribution of Jockey-branded underwear, sleepwear and thermalwear for infant, toddler and children's apparel."
OK, what is wrong with this picture?
Maybe I am wrong, but I thought Jockey was an international leader in the underwear market.…Continue
