I'm starting this blog post because I was just so IRRITATED at how freakin expensive the fashion business is. Or rather how expensive the business of fashion is. I'm not so much talking about product costs - but after you have your line. The marketing, the prototypes for the next line, the supplies for printing cartridges of all things!
I just saw a posting about a girl simply asking about fabrics and people gave links to the fabric sourcing show, fabric store links - I didn't even… Continue

You need a handbag that compliments your wardrobe, but also compliments you and your specific needs. The classic bags by Beautiful People have timeless appeal. The sultry leather adds a wow factor unrivaled by most comparables. They are available in a beautiful variety of neutral and spring colors! "Multitasking Maria" is a… Continue

Should we develop a fashion industry network t-shirt?
Imagine each year we develop one t-shirt that represents the fashion industry network. Possibly, allow design submissions from members and then we take a vote to determine which shirt design to produce. Actually, I do not really have a voting mechanism on the network (but I am sure we can figure something out).
One problem with this experiment would be that someone would have to front the money to produce the… Continue

What are words for? Can you tell when I'm being acerbic?
I know what they're NOT for.
I'll admit, I am a bit of a Johnny-come-lately when it comes to taking issue, Victor and Rolf F/W 2008. Better late than never though. Laughter is the best medicine....... I'm gonna let the duvet/sleeping bag dresses from F/W 2005 slide. Lookie......bed-head and all. So sexy. Dumb and Dumber........apparently.… Continue

I have to say there is an ominous feeling around the office today. Two celeb-tard clients have jumped ship to another firm. Luckily it’s not Cruellla’s clients so I’m safe from the head-rolling brigade. Sometimes the politics in an office are scarier than any gory horror film. Jason has nothing over my boss…
The good news it that I’ve been getting mad compliments on my… Continue

Palm Springs was amazing! I stayed at the Riviera Hotel
in the center of Palm Springs and never left the property. The Riviera was so romantic yet totally “get down and party, bitches!” atmosphere by the pool.

, the matching… Continue

First let me start right out of the gate and answer this question. The answer is YES, I probably would buy expensive clothing if I could adequately afford to do so...
However, I think that I would have to be filthy rich to the point that I literally did not know what to do with all of my money. In all honesty, I am often amazed by the price point of certain items. For example, I was recently browsing the… Continue
