Welcome to the new revolution in pasties ladies: Nippies. Created by a design company known as Bristols6, Nippies are nipple covers that come in a variety of fabrics (from silk to lace) and patterns (hearts, butterflies, stars, etc), and can be used up to 50 times before being replaced. The last time I wore a backless dress, I opted for my usual go-to: band-aids. However, thanks to the clingy silk of my dress, I ended up with a treasure map on each breast: x marks the spot. I discovered Nippies… Continue

So, browsing the internet for an interesting "Treasure Hunt" item, I found myself wandering back to Etsy.com to look at their hand-made, one-of-a-kind jewelry. I found a seller who stole my heart, considerng I have a serious weakness for chunky rings. I saw this ring (top pic) called "Crowned in Copper" made of river rock, set in a sterling silver accented with a band of braided copper. I kept thinking how pretty tis peachy color would look against summery tanned skin. As I explored further, I… Continue

This month's Spendthrift is both pretty and versatile: a sheer ombre wrap from Cold Water Creek. Take this to the movies as a wrap to snuggle under or to the office to add a little pizazz (and warmth) to your blouse and slacks. The beauty of this wrap is that it's sheer, so it's thin enough to tie around your neck as a scarf or even use it to tie back your hair. The subtle ombre fading of a tender green into a lovely cream really provides that "go with anything and everything you own" vibe:… Continue

Take some "time" to check out our list of the "Top 5 stylish watches" on the right hand information bar to see just a few of the many options on the market today. These little beauties particularly caught our eye as being pieces that really express the personality of the… Continue

do we follow fashion trends because:
a. superior authorities in the industry have decided that 'this is what looks good' and we trust their tatse, so we go along with it
b. feel the need to be 'in'
c. think we actually really like that style, 'it just happens to be trendy right now'
d. believe it is important to be 'up to date'
e. all of the above (if that's possible)
food for thought.
