stacy: so very nice to hear from you!
i think we'll all miss the tents at Bryant Park. there was something special about going up those steps!
My take on Fall 2010..i found it a bit somber, i believe that the designers have become cautious.
the frivolity of fashion will mainly be in editorial spreads.
there's going to be a bit of a backlash, and the towering cartoonish shoes will come down, ultra long hair will get cut, nails will be lacquered in red again.
the lady gaga look will fade. it's been taken to the extreme, so the pendulum will swing back to a more groomed look.
hope we can catch up..maybe lunch one of thses days?
Wow, loved your blog too, a little of everything, a peek into your mind. So you are a designer as well? And why is the jingly guy so over posting, is he a spammer? I have met some hugely talented people on here.
I came across your profile here at F.I.N- and thought you might be interested in having your work showcased at one of fashion’s top portfolio sites- www.ustrendy.com.
I am a part of UsTrendy- a new project for fashion designers and artists to connect to retailers and buyers, gain production (if designer interested in production), industry exposure, and opportunities to have fashion designs showcased in major fashion shows.
We are looking to feature talented designers in our seasonal fashion shows and provide help in funding for your production processes if needed. We are also connecting designers and artists to buyers and retailers.
If interested, Let me know when your work is up (email: Jesskent1@gmail.com) so I can feature it on top of our fashion page!!
Let me know if you have any questions- Thanks! :)
When you have a chance, please add a fashion image to your profile. It does not have to be a picture of you. However, the image you select should be something regarding fashion. You are welcome to add one of your sportswear designs.
If you have any questions about this fashion network, please let me know.
