Over the past 5 years, Kente Open Market has been holding African Expo around the world. This year they have invited Kencar Fashion Magazine, a new fashion magazine geared to the up and coming designers and models to be apart of this event. In doing so, Kencar Fashion Magazine decided to open the doors to all types of designers who would like to show their collection to the world market; to be in an environment where they could mix and network with the buyers of the world and show their own creation to the world press.
This year, and going forward we are pleased to showcase designs from around the world so welcome to the first Kente/Kencar International Fashion Expo with live internet tv streaming, lots of media, celebrities and buyers all gathered under one roof for one day.
During the day time we will have lots of vendors consisting of :
Jewelry makers
Textile manufacturers
Hand bags designers
Shoe designers
Each designers and vendor would pay a registration fee of :$1200.00USD for Designers and $150.00USD for Vendors
Each designer gets:
Models, a chance to showcase their collection, personal on camera interviews, a free table if need to display/sell any items. Designers must have a minimum of 15-20 pieces and a maximum of 30 pieces to showcase on the runway, each designer is responsible for getting to the venue in Amsterdam (to be announced) but Kente/Kencar would hold rooms at a discounted rate for each designer and their party.
We are excited about this, and hope to have you on board for the Amsterdam Fashion Expo and runway show
If you have any other questions, and need an application form please let us know and we will forward one you as soon as possible
