About Me ...: I'm a mystery and romantic comedy author. My romantic comedy, Girl of My Dreams, about a Cinderella story about a straitlaced assistant who turns vamp in a reality show to save a dying studio, has just been released. One scene is on a runway in Paris! Available in print & e-book at www.hardshell.com, www.amazon.com, at allromanceebooks.com, mobipocket.com, by order at booksores.
My mystery, Two Wrongs by Morgan Mandel, a tale of vengeance and the healing power of love, is also available at the same venues.
I'm a past president of Chicago-North Romance Writers of America, the Library Liaison for Midwest Mystery Writers of America, belong to Sisters in Crime and EPIC. At one time I freelanced for the Daily Herald newspaper. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from DePaul University.

I used to walk on my lunch hour to Carson's in Downtown Chicago to buy my booksigning clothes. I really miss it. I do work across the street from The Loft, but that's a tricky place. The lighting in their mirrors always make clothes look better on me than when I get them home!

Fashion Industry Experience: I'm lousy at sewing, can't even cut a straight line. I admire people who have that ability.
I could use some help establishing a younger image to fit my new book. Trouble is, I need to find clothes to hide those extra layers that get in the way! Never had that problem when I was in my 20s.

Favorite Fashion Designer or Fashion Brand: Anything that fits right - can't afford name brands unless on sale!
