Hi Kelly. Very nice to meet you.

I was born in Vietnam but had grown up in Southern California. Im mostly a New Yorker now but commute 3 times a year for long stays in VN. The clothes from our line are definitely not the street "custom-made" type. We produce high-end, hand-made, mainly organic (for the most part) garments. Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to get many people to take themselves out of the realm of cheap products from VN.

PS. the 1 pic represents my the feel of my line ..(hadnt had time to properly post )

Hey... Love your profile and pic. Have you lived in Vietnam long? I've been there and I had an amazing time. Got a lot of clothes made.

The UK retail market is also changing but we are seeing a growing interest in ethical fashion, organic cotton, fair trade ranges etc, especially with the high street stores. I think there are so many high street stores all selling similar items, that as the market drops they are going to need to get creative to compete in the market. The prediction is for a lot more little boutiques to pop up on the UK high streets in the next few years, but also remember the prediction for 40% of all retail spend to be done online by 2012 - you should look into this in the US as if its only four years away now is a great time to get into this market.

Have you researched where else you might want to look at expanding?

Emma.
