About Me ...: I come from a family of tailors and seamstress, my father was many celebreties tailor such as Don "magic" juan (pimp) Artie "bluesboy" White (singer) Joan Sebastian (singer, before he was famous)and members of the first Hispanic T.V. show in Chicago (Alva Molina Show). My family background inspired me to return to school and become a Fashion Designer and honor them with my success.

Fashion Industry Experience: Iv'e been involved in alterations for over 15 years, have sewn wedding dresses, mens, children's, upholstery, car tops ,doggie wear, beading, weaving and pretty much anything that involves picks and end. I recently helped in the construction of several events, Luna Negra Ballet costumes, Chicago Focus week and Latino Fashion week. I will post pictures hopefully soon

My Thanksgiving was great! Thanks!! Did you get to finish the coat you were working on during the Holiday? I always loved to design, my mom was a seamstress back in Brazil. I used to used the left over fabric to make dresses for my Barbie doll. I haven't been to Chicago yet, but it is in my list of cities I would like to introduce my clothing line. If you know any boutique that would be interested in adding a new clothing line to their portfolio, let me know. Also, I would be happy to take a look at your work. Do you have a blog where you post pictures? And , when do you do the Latino Fashion week? Is it at the same time we have it in NY?
