I work in fashion
About Me
Hello Guys,
I am CEO of ESPEJO NELSON LUXURY DENIM,LLC , and head designer and Owner of SEAKI CREATIVE SERVICES,LLC. I work with many start-up designers concerning fashion designing,Product branding, Graphic design, Merchandising, etc. All of this done at reasonable rates / service. I have worked in the fashion industry for 13 years, in such genres as Urban denim (Rockawear, Fubu, Akademics, Sean-John, Phat farm, and Baby Phat)
Missy, Junior (Dollhouse , Miss Sixty) and Young mens ( Empirio Armani, Gap, and John Bartlet) . As you can see, i have worked all over the new york fashion industry. The last 5 years I have been working as a design consultant, building my own company and clientle.
Fashion Industry Experience
I have worked with so many wonderful individuals in this industry, so many memories .
The last 6 years in corporate, I worked as Design Director of AST Sportswear (manufacter or such product lines as BLAZE (WWF junior based clothing line),Johnny Blaze (Urban Sportswear),SOURCE Clothing (for the noted Source Magazine). I have freelanced with Rockawear, Fubu, Akademics, Sean-John, Phat farm, and Marithe Francious Girbaud to name a few.I decided to start my own design consultant company, after noted sales staff of my last corporate gig, noticed that client roster i had will working.
So i decided to work freelance fulltime. Its been wonderful,I specialize in Corporate Branding,Product Design and Graphic Design, providing these services to start-up
fashion manufactures at a reasonable price point. I love working in Urban wear, Contemporary Urban, (Junior , Men's wear, and Young Mens ).

What is hot in fashion this year?
I have noticed that a lot of my new "creative partners" (clients ) that have come on board Seaki Creative Services, are VERY interested in pursuing denim based product lines in the "LUXURY DENIM" market. I explain to all my clients that DETAILS,DETAILS DETAILS!!!! are so important in in market that is COMPLETELY SATURATED with product. Also creating a product line that is totally based on denim, in such a competitive market is not a good decision. If you are interested in this market, pinpoint your demographic, and build a product line that is not only based on denim derived product, but include knits, wovens, and of course tees. Fabrication, denim weaves, wash techniques is also very important in this market. Just understand that DIVERSIFICATION
in this market is so very important, as the consumer are a lot more sophisticated than they were 7 years ago, (how True Religion got away with only offering denim product for 4 years in the market,.(not even merchandised tees) .ill never know,) They are clearly the exception, and now offer more of a diversified product line .

As many of you know, I am a “fashion junkie”. Fashion makes me happy, and I am ALWAYS searching for MANY opportunities to display my talents to the world. True Blood on HBO is one of my MOST favorite shows, and has had me hooked from the first episode. So in my fashion rattled-racked cerebellum, I was searching for a way to expose my design talents, while curb my craving for “True Blood “shows and characters. Im continuing with my “Design Excursions”, adding subject matter to my online portfolios, sites and blogs, based on my designs and talent. The True Blood articles and designs are picking up speed, as I am getting more visitors to my blogs, portfolio, and online design site. SO,….I am going further, diversifying concerning the True Blood franchise. The object of this project is to design ONE LOOK that will describe each character for the WHOLE season! ( I know, my brain is about to explode with all kinds of ideas)

Have you actually worked at all of those companies you listed in your profile, or are you saying that you design in the similar genres as those brands? Either way, great job with your designs.
