About Me ...

I am Zsófia Karikó-Kertész, a licensed professional makeup artist.
I took a long way till I have finally found this profession, which remains an “eternal love” for me. I learned in the MASK Makeup School from Ilus Kristóf, where I could deepen my knowledge, got a lot of experiences and graduated with an excellent mark.
I think that continuous training and development is crucial, because in this line you have to be “up-to-date”. I love my profession. I am glad to do the thing what I like the most and in what I feel really at home day by day. It is a great honour for me if someone entrusts the beauty of her face to me.
I always take care not only to create a beautiful makeup, but to create a makeup fitting to the lady’s individual, expressing mostly her beauty, and which is suitable for the occasion, the dress and the conception of the photoshoot. I love to see the contented smiles and glistening eyes when a dream has come true by myself.
I have my referencies mostly from photoshootings, but I fill every requirements with pleasure and I take all my works as a new challenge.
As every makeup artist, I also have my own, individual style. I work with professional products and enduring raw materials - BenNye, Paris Berlin, Kryolan, Kiko - and naturally I take into consideration the type, colour and sensibility of my guests’ skin.
Not everybody was born perfect and beautiful, but everybody makes an effort to bring out the maximum of herself and to preserve it as years passing by. It is important to feel happy with the look we have.
