About Me ...: I am currently a part-time student of Baltimore City Community College with a major in Fashion Design. My lifelong dream has been to be a small business owner in the apparel industry. However, since my initial enrollment in the Fashion program at BCCC, I have curved those ambitions somewhat. Initially, I wanted to develop my own maternity wear line (That could still be something that I would do in the distant future.) However, right now I would rather focus my efforts on becoming a service contractor. Personally, I feel that there are a lot of budding designers with cool ideas and trendy fashions, but, what they lack is opportunity to make their design concepts a functioning reality. Why? Because either they don't have access to the capital that is required by the industry today or they're not plugged into the proper connections. Consequently, I am of the opinion that the barriers created for the small designer has formed a hole in the market that I could possibly serve. Which leads me to where I am now; I'm trying to develop my niche through education and hands on experience.

It is good to hear from you. I'm delighted that you will be returning to school in fall 2009. Early registration begins in late April so give me a call then (410-986-5522). Classes begin the last week of August, 2009. Don't wait until the last minute to register because the fashion classes fill-up rather quickly.
