About Me ...

I'm Industrial Product Designer. I will focus on the product design first and link the fashion industry to it later.

At the moment I'm graduating for Topvisiongroup, they manufacture secure displays for the Optic Branche, main purpose to secure sunglasses.

China is part of my future focus. I'm trained in mass production, of course China is one of the biggest and fast growing "factories" of the world.

Main subjects I'm interested in are: Quality Management, Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly.

For fun I play bass guitare. My style in fashion is mainly "out of tune" with the general population surrounding me. I would not describe myself as fashionable, but that is mainly caused by the lack of financial resources. I will improve it when I have a steady job and the first concerns of living are fullfilled.

I was born in Zeeland, I'm attracted by traditional mixed with nowadays fashion. Sometimes it seems the more fashionable people get, the more they look the same.

In earlier days fashion was to show your position in class, the place you where living, if you where married, if you where mourning, if it was winter or summer. Nowadays most of the fashion just means nothing.

I hope I can work on this subject in the future, but first I need to gain more experience. It is easy to say something is wrong, to work on it is a real challenge.

What is hot in fashion this year?

Chinese influence in fashion will become bigger and bigger. Not only in style, also in materials, like silk. But I think it will not be this year....I think this will be even more in the future.
