- I am a textile broker and the name of my company is The Fabric Stock Exchange. The Fabric Stock Exchange is a fabric brokering service for small manufacturers, fashion designers, retail fabric stores, fabric converters, importers and fabric jobbers. The company specializes in selling first quality, off-price, immediately available fabrics at BELOW WHOLESALE prices. The Fabric Stock Exchange has been successfully bringing buyers and sellers together for over 30 years.
The Fabric Stock Exchange sells all types of fabrics – natural, natural blends and synthetics in both knits and wovens. Most of the fabrics sold are from the excess inventories of Seventh Avenue Designers, Broadway manufacturers, fabric mills, converters, and importers. The Fabric Stock Exchange represents companies from Massachusetts to California. All of the fabrics offered are from top mills here and abroad.

- I am the Owner and President of The Fabric Stock Exchange and have over 3 decades of experience in the Textile and Apparel Industries. As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, my career began in 1977 as the Merchandise Manager for the Halston V and VI companies, a division of Manhattan Industries. In 1979 I left the designer Halston to work as the Fabric Buyer at Calvin Klein LTD. I have also freelanced as a Fabric Buyer and Design Assistant for Oleg Cassini.
My extensive knowledge of the better piece goods market led me to my own business, “SWATCHES”. Swatches developed a new and unique way to sell designer fabrics to better retail stores across the country. While at Swatches, (the first women-owned fabric jobbing company in the country) I designed, converted and imported printed fabrics from Japan. After leaving the New York area, I created my second company in the Textile Industry, “The Fabric Stock Exchange” in 1987. “The Fabric Stock Exchange” is a worldwide fabric brokering service offering better fabrics to manufacturers, retail stores and designers worldwide.
“Fabricstockexchange.com” combines the knowledge of my more than 30 years of industry experience with the efficiencies of the internet and the expansion of the global marketplace.
