Fashion Industry Experience: I have +17 years of fashion experience in New York, but have just recently been to L.A. and I LOVED IT!

Back in New York

I have moved back to New York end September and have had a very slow time finding work since September was when Wall Street basically crashed and the whole world economy has felt it since, I'm thinking "what the hell did I just do to myself. Gitana means gipsy girl in french and wanted to represent a modern, contemporary gipsy girl. A gipsy is very feminine and loves nature so I used earth tones and flowers, furs and feathers etc. To express feminine side I use lace, frills, nets, sheer materials etc.

I am working with compliance fulfilled WRAP certified factories and offer AQL level of 2.5 . Few of the factories are having infrastructures from spinning to garmenting who can handle large volumes .
