Dear Rose,

I have just relocated to Los Angeles, CA and am exploring career opportunities in the apparel industry here.

I have over four years experience in the fashion and apparel industry coupled with a Masters degree in Leather Apparel Design and Technology (LADT) from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), a premier fashion institute in India.

I have an experience of 3 years as a Buyer and a Merchandiser and have worked with eminent brands such as Esprit, Paul Smith, Whistles, Karen Millen, Jigsaw, Sag Harbour, Izod etc. I also represented my organization in the ‘Lineappelle’ leather fair in Bologna, Italy in order to ascertain new trends, gather product information and build contacts across the industry.

thank you for your comments. You can find a list of fashion schools at the fashion school directory pages on Apparel Search. A good school on LA is FIDM. Actually, we have a group for FIDM in our groups section. Possibly you can ask some of the other students regarding their thoughts about the school.
