NZ is cold as! i live in the windy part unlike your lucky friend in piha - have to bear all 4 seasons in one most days.

blogging is.... interesting. i tried starting one up ages ago and failed miserably. did one post and the next one just never came along. but the one i have now - determined to keep it going. have got good feedback so far. getting people there is tough as well. i've been trying to find forums that are relevant to my blog and participating heaps - some forums let you have a signature that you can add a link to your site to - which is awesome and works great for me. FIN is good too - whenever i have a new post (usually once a week), i post a description on the groups i've joined (which are only the relevant ones - i hate bombarding people with useless junk). i have mini-posts as well which i do every 2-3 days that are 1-2 lines just to keep the home page looking fresh. LOVE stats - it's your best friend for blogging or any website. tells you everything from how many people you get to where they come from to how long they spend on your site. love my numbers - tells you how to make it better.

whats your blog about? i wanted to keep mine a bit professional - with useful hot topics instead of who's the latest designer and product reviews - there's so many of those blogs out there its just hard to compete and usually i don't really care about who the hottest designer is at the moment anyway. lifestyle and industry news - figured people will always read that.
