- N.Y.C. Public Relations, LLC is a hands-on, full service agency that provides clients with a wide range of resources in the fashion, health, entertainment, nightlife & lifestyle industry.
N.Y.C. Public Relations, LLC believes in working closely with each client to create and promote a signature image. We believe in building personal relationships, keeping the clients’ needs a priority.
In our Publicity Division, we develop and build a client’s brand name through magazines, including foreign publications, national and regional print, broadcast, on-line and trade, and reaching industry leaders and/or consumers. We reinforce media coverage in order to recognize profile stories and product placement.
Our Special Events Division is devoted to fulfill a range of services for events; which includes the full production of fashion shows with designers showing with 7th on Sixth or off-site, exhibitions, trade shows, charities, store openings, band performances, in-store events, acquiring sponsorships, and work with celebrity stylists for dressing red carpet events and personal events.
- Fashion Industry Experience
- Yvonne Miller, the former muse for Bill Blass, his Personal Assistant for 17 years, and his Director of Public Relations, established N.Y.C. Public Relations (formerly SOUTHPAWS public relations, LLC) with her partner Lauren Weigle.
After her many years with Bill Blass, Ltd., Yvonne incorporated all that she had learned to expand her career in the fashion industry. After modeling and walking the runways of Europe, Yvonne became involved in public relations for Mr. Blass and was exclusively responsible for producing his fashion shows in New York and across the country, dressing celebrities, organizing fittings with personal clients, working with all major national and international magazines, broadcast media, newspapers, stylists, movies, and interfacing with major department store buyers/fashion directors. She also collaborated with Blass licensees for press opportunities and advertising strategies to ensure that licensed products reflected the Bill Blass image.
Yvonne is now providing a full service fashion and non-fashion industry venture, with the ability to provide those essential services as a custom solution for clients’ specific requirements.
Lauren Weigle began her career designing activewear for the launch of a small menswear company titled MaleDog. In turn, she was offered ownership in the company. From there, she worked under couture designer Joanna Mastroianni as her assistant with design and fashion show presentations for 7th on Sixth. While working for Joanna Mastroianni, Lauren created editorials, photographed celebrities, and designed/sketched garments and handbags. Shortly after, Lauren worked in fashion show productions for the Westfield Shopping Center company. She then worked for SOUTHPAWS public relations, LLC, producing shows for 7th on Sixth and off-site venues.
As a partner of N.Y.C. Public Relations, Lauren accompanies Yvonne in managing the company’s business development initiatives, which includes specializing in fashion, retail, music, event planning, show production, and celebrity dressing.
